We could have our bags made in a factory in some far off place, and while we'd make more money that just wouldn't make us smile. We would wonder how the employees in the factory were treated, were they paid a fair wage? The image of a sweat shop would always be on our minds. So our bags are made by hand in the Seattle area by women who love to sew.
No hot factories, no quotas to meet or awful bosses. How nice is that?
